Resignation and Motion for National Credentials Rep

Oh right. In that case, when I served on National Credentials last time, I voted not to recognize either Oregon delegation because when factions can't sort their shit out they can both suffer as far as I'm concerned, so take that for what you will 😂
Just when I thought this century couldn't get any weirder, I have someone with your passion for liberty, commitment, experience, and skill set identifying as a communist with an anger management problem. Maybe now I can say "I've seen it all".... ;)

Everyone: If there's anyone else you think should be included for consideration for national CredComm, this would be the time to check with that person and see if they're willing, then get them to volunteer.

Aaron is now our rep on the LNC Credentials Committee, but this story's not over. Aaron called for backup, and so far only Anastasia has shown up to answer that call. At this point it would be in order for someone to move that we appoint Anastasia to the alt position.

If anyone has anyone else in mind for the alt position, this would be a good time to make that known. (Note: When I say 'anyone else in mind', I mean anyone else that actually wants the job--either yourself or someone you've already checked with to see if they're interested and willing. No random names, please.)

If a viable alternate candidate for the alternate role shows up during the time we are collecting co-sponsors, before I post the vote, we can start over with a new motion to elect one of the candidates. If we have already started voting, I'm not going to stop the vote. Doesn't mean you can't whip no votes to stop Anastasia's appointment, or try to convince Anastasia to withdraw, or whatever else you can think of, but please read the room and think that through before you try to sandbag the process. The much better move is to act on this within the next day or so that it takes to get co-sponsors, before the vote goes up.

I was going to volunteer, but since Anastasia stepped up, I make a motion to accept her as the LPTexas Alternate to the LNC Credentials Committee.

Bro, if you want it, I'm happy to step aside. I've done a stint on national cred comm before, and was only volunteering because nobody else had. I would love to see you in that role if you're interested!

The way I read the above, both Jack and Anastasia are willing to serve and willing to defer to the other, but having considered the possibility of switching places, Jack has indicated that he would still prefer that Anastasia be the alternate, and Anastasia has indicated that she is still willing to do that.

On that basis, please consider Jack's motion post above a request for co-sponsors to appoint Anastasia as alternate rep, and let's get this process underway.
