[Discussion] Motion Expressing the Will of the Body on CiviCRM

You are 100% correct. I was messaged by a member asking if there was a timeline and mentioning that it had been 6 days and I did not verify myself. I have been in DC since the 5th of July and my days are running together. So it is not as dire as I thought, whew. Hopefully, then there is some time in the next 3 days. 🙂
Thanks Andrew!

Just some thoughts even though the vote is already up.
I had just finished TEC reporting when this discussion started (John did give me a heads up personally before the initial post) and I didn’t want to look at a computer screen after completing that monstrous task, so please excuse my tardiness to this discussion. I’ve had access to the CRM to help me do my job. I’ve got little training so far and am having a hard time navigating this beast (Kyle has been incredible with helping me when I’ve gotten stuck). Lots of data is still missing because we haven’t agreed on how to migrate it from QB that makes everyone “happy” and that doesn’t require unrealistic expectations of my personal time. I do want to give SLEC access but I echo Andrew’s comments. Key issues needs to be fixed and permissions need to be appropriate. Please be patient.

I apologize for not being on top of this sooner. My engine blew up on the way home from Waco and life has been wacko since then!
Thank you John for making this a non-binding motion; a good way to ask and not demand.
Limited read/write access to CRM is needed for both Chair and SLEC. The ability to download data pertinent to their areas of responsibility is critical. The ability to make notes on each data set is critical. The ability to change hard data needs to be centralized and not changeable by SLEC or Chair member. MOST IMPORTANTLY: LPTEXAS staff needs to provide a date by when the improvements/changes to CRM will allow SLEC access.
