Note: I will be adding the coalition policy matter to the agenda under new business with notice. The final proposed agenda will be posted here this coming Saturday.

@wbilyeu thank you for putting the coalition's policy matter on the agenda. I look forward to hearing input from members on the sunsetting/non-perpetual coalition concept to get this policy passed.
 
Just as an FYI to the body, my motion did not make the proposed agenda (my fault) but is on the final agenda.

I am effectively moving to pay our bookkeeper a small salary. Jocelyn has done excellent work in this role and I'd like that to continue. TEC compliance is important, as is accurate financial reporting to this body. I do not believe these things should be left up to the hope that we have volunteers who have the time and the knowledge to handle these things nor should all of that burden fall on the shoulders of one person (Treasurer). As we continue to grow and become more professional, this is a no-brainer to me. If you have any questions, I'm happy to discuss.
 
I don't have a formal report of the Bylaws Committee's activity over the past couple of months. In short, lots of meetings about nerdy rules stuff, but I have the next best thing. I would like to present on behalf of the Rules Committee the 2024 Rules Committee Report - Draft 1. The purpose of this document is to inform potential delegates of upcoming proposals and solicit feedback. As such, this is subject to change, but expect it to be close to what the final report looks like. One thing this report is missing is some of these proposals will come with recommendations from the committee that the convention votes to enact immediately. The committee has not yet voted on which proposals should carry this recommendation. This report is being shared here first and will be shared more broadly on the party's various communication channels in the coming weeks.
