November Meeting Location

Good morning. Do we have a solid plan in place for what city the next meeting will be? I’m sure the exact venue is still being worked on but giving me (and others) the city would help planning.

That weekend is usually when we celebrate my son’s birthday so the sooner I can know about this meeting the better I can plan accordingly to attend and to figure what day for a party. Thank you.

Hey RJ, I’m gonna jump in for Jodi here because I believe she’s floating the river today. I don’t know that we have a venue locked down, but Jodi is pretty confident that our next meeting will be in the Houston area.

The hold up on the decision was the getting a firm commitment from the Oliver/ter Maat campaign as to whether they’d be attending our election watch party. (They will!) That (separate) event will be in Dallas area, so with that decision made, we can now say with relative confidence that our SLEC weekend will be in the Houston area.

I do think that’s what she had in mind, but I don’t know if that’s “locked in” quite yet. She has mentioned Montgomery County (mine and @Chris Farrow’ county), but I don’t want to set that expectation prematurely.

Update- I looked at a calendar wrong. My son’s birthday party will be the weekend AFTER SLEC meeting so timing wise it works.

Just hoping that the meeting is in the woodlands or north lol
