Soliciting Volunteers for Policy Committee

At the last SLEC meeting, this body approved a motion to form a Policy Committee. To refresh your memory on that motion, please see this link:

As the motion states, this committee will consist of the Executive Director, the Vice Chair and 3 other members. At this time, I would like to open up nominations to fill these 3 positions.

1. Yes, you can volunteer as tribute...errr, nominate yourself In fact, that's probably preferred so that we don't have to run around asking folks if they accept nominations.
2. Please submit all nominations by 11:59 pm Monday, March 3.

None of the other candidates achieved a malority of the votes cast, so one seat on the committee remains open. SOP in this situation is for the committee members to fill the vacancy. Committee, once you’ve had your initial meeting, whoever’s elected Chair please let us know who the committee officers are and who the fifth member is.
