Requests for agenda time 5/3/25

I have a request from Nathan Polsky for 1.5 hours on the agenda for the Convention Committee to present a report and proposal to SLEC (one hour) and then for a motion to adopt a particular venue for our 2026 convention (1/2 hour).

No rush, we're still three weeks out, but as other agenda requests come up, please post them here. See y'all soon!
 
Making such a decision in one sitting could have unintended consequences. Will the Committee report be available prior to the meeting for members to review and discuss? Or are we being asked to hear the report, quick Q&A, then vote?

It is the committee’s plan to post our report Friday, April 25th on the forum, which will allow a full week of consideration and Q&A before we even get to the in-person presentation. :)

Thank you Jeff, that should give us time to read and consider our votes. I appreciate your response and the work y'all are doing.
